Li-Jiang Tablecloth Blankets (2021)
On our first "Family Group" trip to China in 2001 we visited a beautiful city Li-Jiang. Artisans here hand dyed fabrics in beautiful deep hues of mostly indigos, some greens, and yellows. In addition to other yardage purchased on that trip, I bought 2 rectangular tablecloths with the idea that someday I would make blankets out of them.
It took almost 20 years and a pandemic to finally force me to make them. I purchased double (or was it triple) layered cotton gauze fabric online for the backing. I believe Jacob has the yellow one, and Bryan has the blue one now.
