Pillows for Curiosity (2025)

I finally made use of extra stuffing from two pillows the kids gifted us several Christmas' ago.  I have been saving (5) 1-gallon ziplocks full of this stuffing!  After our last van trip, I decided it was time to make some "proper" mini pillows & pillow cases for a good night's sleep.

I save all sorts of random fabrics.  This is a fitted sheet that we've torn a hole through - perfect for this project!

I haven't sewn a zipper in many many years.  Thanks goodness for YouTube!

I've also never made use of some of the fancy stitches that my fancy machine makes.  This seam stitch will be good for these pillows because the fabric frays very easily. 

Here are those (5) bags of stuffing I have been saving!

The amount I had was perfect!

The mini pillows are about 2/3 the size of the original pillows, perfect size for the van!
